Highlights
Brokers need to be reminded of what your highlights are for your different loan programs. This content can easily be manipulated by the AE or an Administrator. After entering an unlimited number of highlights, they appear on the home page of your "Loan Post". Furthermore, these highlights can be printed out and saved as a PDF document right from the "Loan Post" homepage. Click here to see an example....
Niche Guidelines
Every Wholesale Lender has a guideline book with at least 100 pages of content. Brokers will never read this, so it is the AEs job to know the guidelines. MLP provides a platform for the AE or administrator to easily enter the most commonly asked niche guidelines and provide explanations for each niche. The easiest way to enter this detailed information is to cut and paste from the guideline book. Once this information is entered, it displays on the niche guideline section and also displays on the pre-qual form if the niche was pre-selected. See example here...
Important Documents/Resources
Brokers and processors make continual requests for certain documents like submission forms, rate lock forms, condo questionnaires, fee sheets, etc... MLP provides a resource page for you to post links to this information and even upload custom documents to be accessible all on one page. These resources are easily transferable during the Pre-Qual process, so when the broker receives the E-mailed Pre-Qual it comes with all the resources needed to submit the loan! See example here...
Calculators
Crunching numbers is usually the broker's job. They range from calculating PITI, blended rates, amortization schedules, to debt payoff calculations. All these calculators will be available for your brokers via your "Loan Post" See sample page here...
FAQs
Brokers frequently ask the same questions and continue to make the same mistakes ranging from...
- 1. Following incorrect closing procedures, which slows the underwriting process.
- 2. Processing incorrect mortgagee clause information
- 3. Submitting loans not meeting minimal credit standards
MLP aims to solve this problem by allowing you to answer FAQs and explain procedures, which displays on the FAQ section of your "Loan Post" and on every generated Pre-Qual quote. See example here...
Submitting Pre-Quals
The most important aspect of your new "Loan Post" is the ability to allow brokers to submit Pre-Quals online. You can customize the Pre-Qual form to only accept qualified loans! After brokers register their information in the system, they can log in and submit Pre-Quals. If you have an automated pricing engine, MLP can link directly to your pricing engine. Although custom programming is required to transfer data from MLPs Pre-Qual form to your company's pricing engine, it can be done. An easy work around is to apply direct connect access to your pricing engine. This will however bypass MLPs Pre-Qual form and you will not be taking advantage of the full MLP CRM Suite.
Note: Only corporate and premium accounts can customize the fields and values on the Pre-Qual form.
Tell a Friend
Your "Loan Post" comes with an easy way for brokers to share your loan post with other brokers. By clicking the "Tell a Friend" button, My Loan Post automatically opens the broker's contact list, (Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, Etc...) The broker can select multiple contacts to spread the word about your new "Loan Post".
